Lived in Thailand for 5 years and had previously traveled through Southeast Asia for over 5 years. He frequently visited Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Today, he considers himself at home worldwide, with a special focus on the Philippines.
Hazel
Born in the Philippines, she now lives in Germany. She offers deep insights into the authentic life of Filipinos and knows the most beautiful places in the country. As a native Cebuana, she is an expert on Cebu but also passionately travels through Europe and Asia.
Alina
Originally from Austria, she now lives in Bali and has committed herself to a nature-oriented and relaxed lifestyle. Besides surfing, she particularly enjoys advocating for animal welfare. Tina supports the blog and provides regular updates directly from the island.

Initially, I wrote for text portals on the internet to earn some money. Over time, my enjoyment of writing, especially about travel and lifestyle topics, grew. This led to the idea of starting my own blog. Here, I want to share my experiences and insights from my travels to Thailand and Southeast Asia with you. My goal is to inspire those who are hesitant and to ease the fear of traveling. If I can spark your wanderlust, I’ll have achieved what I set out to do.

About My Travel Style
In general, I can make do with relatively little. Comfortable hotel rooms are nice, but I’m also happy with simple accommodations and a basic bed. I don’t need a TV or minibar while traveling. If necessary, I can travel on a low budget as a backpacker, but I’m also willing to spend a bit more for luxury and faster transfers. That’s the essence of flashpacking! I usually avoid tourist hotspots or only stay briefly, though I do enjoy seeing them to explore all aspects.
I always strive to experience each country as authentically as possible, and I am not afraid of interacting with locals or using the local language. Most of the time, I travel as a mix of backpacker and flashpacker. Since time is the most precious resource for me while traveling, I tend to choose the fastest transportation options.
My motto is: Time is the most valuable asset on my travels! Money plays a secondary role. I don’t have to watch every cent and can afford to take a speedboat instead of a regular ferry, especially if it saves half the time. Generally, I can do without luxury and frills and always try to soak up the customs of each country.
